Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Governing Jurisdiction: Emirate of Dubai, UAE
1. Fixed-Fee Advisory Retainer Scope
Commonwealth Financial Advisory & Brokerage operates strictly as an independent management consultancy and financial brokerage registered under Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) License No. 1104825 (Commercial Registry No. 1827461). All retainers paid by clients (B2B corporate or B2C individual) solely cover professional advisory hours, financial readiness evaluations, feasibility study preparation, and administrative dossier structuring.
2. Non-Refundable Retainer Terms (100% Non-Refundable Policy)
Upon submission of the Client Eligibility Intake Form and payment authorization of the fixed retainer fee ($1,000 – $4,000 USD), consultancy work commences immediately through administrative file allocation, analyst assignment, and compliance file review.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: All retainer fees paid to Commonwealth Financial Advisory & Brokerage are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE once client intake has been submitted or preliminary dossier work has commenced. No partial or full refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including client cancellation or withdrawal of mandate.
3. Zero Guarantee of Third-Party Approval & Liability Disclaimer
Commonwealth Financial Advisory & Brokerage acts strictly as a commercial broker intermediating credit facilities and dossier preparation. We are NOT a bank, lender, or money-accepting institution. Credit facility approvals, mortgage terms, or restructuring agreements are strictly determined by third-party regulated financial institutions under their independent underwriting criteria.
Underwriting decisions, delays, or rejections from third-party lending institutions do NOT constitute grounds for fee refunds. Retainer fees compensate our professional consultancy time and documentation preparation regardless of third-party outcomes.
4. Chargeback & Dispute Prevention
Clients explicitly acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy during checkout via mandatory agreement. Any fraudulent chargeback attempts or payment disputes initiated through credit card issuers will be contested with bilateral advisory agreements, IP intake logs, and DET license credentials, and may incur legal administrative fees under UAE Commercial Law.
5. Governing Law & Contact Details
This policy is governed by Federal Law No. (5) of 1985 (UAE Civil Transactions Law) and the commercial laws of Dubai. For any compliance queries regarding your engagement invoice:
